Where Can You Find the Updated Consular Fee Schedule?

The Italian government has announced a significant increase in the consular fees for Italian citizenship by descent (iure sanguinis) applications. This change was passed as part of Italy's 2025 Budget on Dec. 28, 2024. As of Jan. 1, 2025, the consular fee for Italian citizenship by descent applications has risen from €300 to €600 ($643.70 USD) per an adult applicant. This fee adjustment applies to all adult applications submitted between Jan. 1, 2025, and March 31, 2025.
