If all you need is answers to your questions, our Phone/Zoom Support offers an array of consultations that fit your needs.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Collaborative Citizenship Assistance Program (Phase 1) includes:

  • Ongoing Phone/Zoom Consultations (any combination of 30-minute or 60-minute phone or Zoom calls, totaling 180 minutes).
  • Genealogy Research to identify Italian vital records information and Naturalization information.
  • Purchase of the required Italian Vital Records
  • Purchase of the Naturalization Proof Documents (or if the Italian Ancestor never became a US citizen, documentation proof to confirm he or she remained an Italian citizen)

Additional Support: (Optional Phase 2) Document Review Consultation, Apostilles, and Translations to Italian are not included in the initial Program but can be purchased “in bulk-together”, later, when ready.

This program is tailored for those applicants who want to collect all the required US Vital Records on their own and only need assistance with the “qualifying” documents and would benefit from consulting with a professional for guidance while ordering and procuring the US vital records.

If you are a do-it-yourselfer at heart and you are planning to collect and possibly amend/correct all the US vital records on your own, then the Collaborative Citizenship Assistance Program meets your needs. You will receive Phone/Zoom support and rely on us to acquire the Italian Vital Records and the Naturalization Records Proof. This program is more affordable.

But the process of acquiring and addressing inconsistencies with US documents can be overwhelming especially when dealing with certain states that may require court orders. If you are not willing or able to take on the challenge, but rather rely on our professional Team to manage your entire document portfolio, then the Full Start-to-Finish Program is the right choice.

As soon as we receive your order, you will be contacted by one of our Project Managers to set up the first Phone/Zoom Consultation (preferably a 1-hour consultation). We will email you directions on preparing and submitting your family information prior to the consultation.

During the initial 60-minute call, we will review your entire family tree, perform FREE preliminary research to complete and/or confirm your family chart, see if we can determine if you do qualify, establish a pursuit path, and build a personalized list of all the required documentation you will need to apply for Italian Dual Citizenship.

Part of the program requires you to provide a copy of your valid Photo ID, as well as some forms to be signed by you so we can procure the required Italian Vital Records & Naturalization Proof Documents.

NOTE: The remaining four (4) 30-minute Phone/Zoom calls will be conducted at your convenience.

The price for the Collaborative Citizenship Assistance Program is a non-refundable flat fee of $3,500. (The Additional Support/Optional Phase 2 is a variable price based on the number of required Apostilles and Translations.)

Our goal is to complete your project as soon as possible, but some federal agencies (specifically USCIS) take 12 months to fulfill naturalization records orders.

Here are the expected timelines:

  • Italian Vital Records take about 2-6 months to fulfill.
  • Naturalization Papers take about 12 months to fulfill.

Yes, at any time if you feel that the process of gathering US vital records is daunting and too time consuming, you can switch to our comprehensive Start-to-Finish Program. If you have already collected some US vital records, and we determine that they are issued in the correct format and signed by the proper state or town officer to be later apostilled, we provide a $100 credit per document.

The non-refundable fee of $3,500 for the Collaborative Italian Citizenship Program will be credited to
the total estimated fee of the Full Start-to-Finish Program.

2. Buying property in Italy is easier.

5. You can vote for your regional Italian Parliament representative.

There is really no limit of the number of generations, provided your ancestor was born in Italy and emigrated after the beginning of the Kingdom of Italy, March 17th, 1861 and did not naturalize before July 1, 1912. If you are unsure or if you have questions, you can schedule a Free Telephone Consultation

If your Italian Ancestor was born in Italy before 1861, but migrated to another country after 1861, he or she was an Italian citizen. If instead, your Italian Ancestor migrated away or died before 1861, he or she was NOT an Italian citizen.

If your Italian Ancestor naturalized before July 1, 1912, you do not qualify for Italian citizenship even if his or her child was born before this individual naturalized. Prior to that date, when a native-born Italian naturalized in another country, he gave up not only his own Italian citizenship but also that of all of his minor children, regardless of where they were born. Ancestors who naturalized before July 1, 1912 cannot pass on Italian citizenship under Italian Law No. 555 of July 23, 1912.
