Our professional researchers will go on-site to the Parish Archive in your town of origin and conduct a thorough and exhaustive search for your family records. This is a difficult and demanding job that requires reading and translating of Latin and older Italian dialects. Each Parish is different in the amount and quality of information they have saved over the years. Generally the researcher will spend up to 2 full days on site. The time frames researched vary greatly but usually start at the beginning of the 1800s and can go back as far as the Parish records will allow, possibly the mid 1600s.
You can authorize this research phase only if you have already exhausted the municipal records in your ancestral town. If you haven’t, you please read our FULL PHASE research option first.
You can expect to receive:
A complete genealogy report with a translation of the family information contained in the records found.
Copies or photographs of family documents, including baptismal, marriage, and when available, death records
Photographs of the town
A CD in popular GEDCOM formats for your future use and sharing with other family members.
