Our professional researchers will go on-site to your town of origin and conduct a thorough and exhaustive search in the local municipal records. This time period usually goes back to the beginning of civil vital registration records (early 1800s), based on availability of the town hall records. The research will then continue in the local Parish Church Archives. This is a difficult and demanding job that requires reading and translating of Latin and older Italian dialects. Each Parish is different in the amount and quality of information they have saved over the years. The time frames researched vary greatly but usually can go back as far as the Parish records will allow, possibly the mid 1600s. The overall timeframe goes from the beginning of the local church records, possibly the mid to late 1600s to the end of the 1800s (depending on when your Ancestor was born).
