Although involved for many years in psychopharmacological research at the Rome University, Paola Sale has always maintained and fostered her strong passion for painting, which she inherited from her father.
Now that she has retired from her former job, she is actively engaged with genealogical research in the ancient archives of central Italy. But, most of all, she can finally dedicate to painting, making oil portraits and copies of Italian classic authors' works (such as Leonardo's and Caravaggio's), as well as oil and tempera family trees and coats of arms.
