| We are now able to provide a 30 minute consultation via telephone that will help you determine if you meet the requirements for Italian Citizenship based on Italian Law; in addition we can advise you about handling the relationship with the Italian Consulate and advise you about gathering your specific documentation needed to process your application. |
|
WHO WILL CALL YOU?
Eric Iovacchini, JD, Ph.D., is the co-founder of Bella Consultants, a professional service that assists individuals seeking dual Italian, Irish and Greek Citizenship. He is an attorney and the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs Emeritus at the University of North Carolina at Asheville. During his more than 35 years as a higher education leader and attorney, he has had numerous opportunities to interact with governmental agencies at all levels and understands the workings of not only state government but the federal government as well.
He is also a Dual Italian Citizen.
WHAT SHOULD YOU EXPECT?
The $80 U.S. consultation fee will be charged regardless of the conclusions drawn after evaluating your situation. Each individual case is different and may or may not lead to dual citizenship. Once you submit your order, Eric will first email you to set up a time for the call to take place.
HOW SHOULD YOU GET READY FOR THE PHONE CALL?
Before we can evaluate whether or not you qualify for Italian citizenship jure sanguinis, you must know:
- The birth dates of every family member in a direct line between you and your Ancestor from Italy (you should at least know the year)
- The location of birth, marriage and death events for every family member in a direct line between you and your Ancestor from Italy
- Information regarding your Ancestor's naturalization
Please have as much of this information as possible ready before we contact you.
PLEASE NOTE: The application must be submitted PERSONALLY to the Italian consulate having territorial jurisdiction for the State in which you reside -- not the one where you were born. It is not possible to delegate a lawyer to process your application with the Italian Consulate.
